TRACKERS

Both trackers for the day are out, with both showing Obama two points ahead.  Both had him a point ahead yesterday.  The change is too small to be significant.  It wouldn't be shocking if he got a modest bump during his convention, starting Monday.

The trackers do not yet show the effect of naming Biden.  The story just below suggests there may not be any important impact.
